We disabled the Host OS management option when adding the VSwitch. For making a HyperV VSwitch, we went with the new method SET (Switch Embedded Teaming). You can try each step and reboot your server to see if it fixes your issue.ġ. Each reboot our servers would get stuck in a Public/unidentified network state, and it would take a port bounce to put it back on a Domain network profile. It is kind of dumb that so many steps had to be done to just fix it for us. We had issues at our facility when implementing Server 2022 Datacenter HypverV hosts. It must be something with Hyper-V or Windows Server 2022 bug. None of these methods solves the problem. remove hyper-v feature, then both cards works normally.creating external virtual switch in hyper-v.installing all possible Windows Server updates.rollbacking drivers to previous version.We didn't create any virtual machines yet, because of this network problems. This is not normal, because both network cards should work even after restarting server. But if second card is manually disabled, then reenabled, the error is gone and NIC shows connection. However, after we added Hyper-V from Server manager (add roles and features), then restarted server, because it was required to do so, second network card shows Network cable unplugged. Both ethernet ports are connected to network with CAT6 cable. We just installed fresh copy of licensed Windows Server 2022 Standard, then installed all drivers from supermicro (our model) page. We bought new Supermicro server, with two Intel® X722 Ethernet Network Adapters.
